I am the daughter of Melvyn and Mitsu Maeda. (Dale is my uncle from my Dad's side of the family.) I was born in San Francisco in 1970, spent my school years in Daly City, attended college in San Francisco and Los Angeles, and moved to Marin County with my husband, Aaron Osheroff, after obtaining my physical therapy degree. Aaron is the database administrator for the College of Marin's two campuses; his hobbies are healthy eating, fitness, and playing the drums. I enjoy playing the piano, but not for audiences, and newly enjoying walking outdoors to see wildflowers.

We had a daughter, Melody (1999-2009). We have another daughter, Melissa, born in 2002, who has studied Bioinformatics at UC San Diego. We have a son, Noah, born in 2010, who exercises at the gym, swims, and attends gymnastics class. We like to travel to Hawaii, see National and State Parks, and go to Disneyland and Disney World.
